Ordinary Teachers and individuals interested in the work of KMEIA $70

Associate* (Student)

Associate membership (Student) is available to one person who is enrolled in:

  • part-time or full-time study at an Australian university completing a Bachelor of Music (any major) and/or either undergraduate or postgraduate initial teacher education (E.g. Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma of Education, Master of Teaching)
  • postgraduate study at the Kodály Institute, Hungary, or the Kodály Center, Holy Names University, USA, and has previously been an ordinary member of the association
 FREE
Associate* (Concession or Retired) A concession card holder and/or retired from the workforce $40
Associate* (Corporate or Family) Schools, tertiary institutions, families and other interested organisations. Where the school has a multi campus arrangement, corporate in its own right would allow effective communication and facilitate maximum involvement of the school personnel in KMEIA activities. $100

*An Associate Member has all the rights and priviledges of membership except voting rights.

Your 12 month membership entitles you to:

  • reduced fees for workshops, seminars and conferences
  • newsletters from your Branch
  • support from like-minded educators
  • opportunities to further develop your own skills as both a musician and a teacher

Renewing Members should click "login" (above), login to their membership account and click "Registration Renewal" to renew KMEIA membership.

If you have forgotten your login details, these can be emailed to you by clicking on the "Username and Password" link above and entering your email address.

Please note that if you are unable to login to your account and it is more than 3 months after your financial end date, your account has  been made inactive. Please "Contact Us" using the form above or email us at membership@kodaly.org.au to have your account reactivated. 

IKS Membership & Australian Kodály Certificate Fee Payment

KMEIA members may also join or renew their membership of the International Kodály Society (IKS) and/or pay for the Australian Kodály Certificate by clicking here or the link above. Please note that you will need to log in using your account details.
